Your prototype doesn't have to be perfect. It just needs to prove your idea works.




People over-engineer their startups. They work too hard on designs that can't be manufactured. They run out of money before the first prototype is even made. That's why people think hardware startups are hard. You just need to start with a basic prototype to prove that your vision works. Then build from there. VCs and customer need to understand the experience, before they invest in your idea.
